Who we are
This website is run by Scavella Transportation, owned and operated by Tyrone Scavella, Nassau, New Providence, The Bahamas. You can reach us on WhatsApp or by phone at (242) 803-9080, or by email at tyronescavella76@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you send a booking request, we collect what you type into the form:
- your name, phone or WhatsApp number and, if you give it, your email address;
- trip details: service, date, time, pickup and drop-off locations, number of passengers and any notes.
If you message us on WhatsApp or by email, we receive whatever you choose to send there. We do not ask for card numbers, passport details or other sensitive information on this website, and no payment is taken here.
How we use it
- to reply to your request, give you a price and arrange your trip;
- to contact you about that booking, including changes, delays and pickup details;
- to keep a simple record of bookings for our own business and accounting.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we never sell or rent them to anyone.
Who else sees it
Only the services that make the website and your booking work:
- our web host, which stores the booking record on a secure server;
- our email delivery provider, which sends the booking emails to us and to you;
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us there.
We may share information if the law requires it.
Cookies
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and it doesn't run analytics that follow you around the web. The only cookie is a sign-in cookie used by the business owner's admin area.
How long we keep it
Booking requests are kept for as long as we need them to run the business and meet our legal obligations, then deleted. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Send a message to tyronescavella76@gmail.com or WhatsApp (242) 803-9080 and we will respond promptly. We handle personal information in line with The Bahamas' Data Protection (Privacy of Personal Information) Act.
Photos
Photos of guests on this website are shared with their permission. If you appear in one and would like it removed, just let us know and we will take it down.
Changes
If we change this policy, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
